Women's Wine Alliance advances the education of women wine professionals through seminars, tastings, mentorships and scholarships in the San Diego community.

Primary Objectives and Purposes of WWA is:

(a) to advance the education of wine service professionals and wine enthusiasts in the areas of viniculture, viticulture, oenology, beverage service and the world’s wine regions

(b) to foster the exchange of information and communication through wine-related educational seminars and discussions, often led by guest speakers with a formal and focused educational tasting on an in-depth subject in the current world of wine

(c) to support the advancement of the status of women in the wine profession through in-person events, online communications, mentorship and networking

(d) to inspire women to achieve higher levels of wine education and certification by providing annual scholarship support to those sitting for credential exams or other areas of higher education related to wine.
