Mission Statement

The Women's Wine Alliance empowers women wine professionals in San Diego through education, mentorship, tastings, and scholarships.

Primary Objectives and Purposes of WWA is:

• To enhance the education of wine professionals and enthusiasts in viniculture, viticulture, oenology, beverage service, and global wine regions.

• To foster knowledge-sharing and community engagement through educational seminars, discussions, and guided tastings led by expert guest speakers on relevant wine industry topics.

•  To support the professional growth of women in the wine industry through in-person events, online engagement, mentorship, and networking opportunities.

• To inspire women to pursue higher levels of wine education and certification by providing annual scholarships for credential exams and other wine-related academic pursuits.
